The Controller and Accountant General’s Department (CAGD) has debunked rumours that it has encountered a technical challenge for the month of May as it tries to make ESPV validation for government workers on the payroll ready for salaries to be paid.
In a statement issued by the CAGD, the viral publication is null and void adding that all public workers should disregard the earlier information in the various news portals.
As a reminder, The Controller and Accountant General’s Department was established under the Civil Service Act, 1960 (CA.5) to take charge of salaries of all government workers in Ghana.
