The Public Affairs Directorate of the Prestigious National Students’ Awards has announced the opening of nominations for the 2019 edition.


A communique issued by the Public Affairs Director, Robert Kumi Adu-Gyamfi has directed all Ghanaian students and the general public that, nominations for National Students’ Awards, 2019 have been officially opened.


The National Students Awards covers from the basic level to higher level education in Ghana, recognizing individuals and organizations helping to build and develop education in Ghana.


Kindly follow the link below and make your nomination for the prestigious National Students’ Awards, 2019. Find below various categories available for nomination; A. STUDENT HALL OF FAME


1. Most Outstanding Student Leader


2. Student Personality of the year (Female)


3. Student personality of the year (Male)


4. Student Journalist of the Year


5. Student Entrepreneur of the Year


6. National Best Student Farmer 7. Student Sports Personality of the year 8. High School Prefect of the Year 9. Rising Star in Showbiz 10. Hall of the year 11. National Student Association of the year


12. Student Blogger of the year 13. Campus Group of the year 14. Campus Radio Station of the year 15. Student Author of the year 16. Student Inventor/Software Developer of the year


B. CORPORATE PLATINUM AWARDS Only a student may nominate a corporate body for this category of the awards. Among other things, the selection Board will consider: how essential the service being provided by the entity is to students or education in Ghana, and how the entity has supported education through corporate social responsibility


. Below is a list of awards under this category: 1. Most Student Friendly Bank of the Year 2. Most Student Friendly Bookshop of the Year 3. Most Student Friendly Telecommunications Company of the Year 4. Most Student Friendly Media House of the Year 5. Parent Teacher Association (PTA) of the Year 6. Students Airline of the Year 7. Professional Training Institute of the year


C. HONOURARY AWARDS FOR MENTORS AND EXCEPTIONAL ACADEMICIANS This category is for individuals who have distinguished themselves in an area of Endeavour and also serve as an inspiration to students or are involved in mentoring young people positively.


Academicians such as teachers, lecturers and other senior members of educational institutions also qualify to be nominated by a student for the categories listed below: 1. Dean of the year 2. Most Outstanding Lecturer/Teacher


3. Vice Chancellor/Headmaster/Principal of the Year 4. Most outstanding MP ( in supporting education) 5. Most outstanding Chief ( in supporting education) 6. Most Outstanding MCE/DCE ( in supporting education) 7. Educational Financier of the year 8. Most Outstanding Mentors 9. Most Outstanding Student Leader of the Decade
