IPS has opened enrolment for its March 2026 PMP certification at UPSA, targeting students and professionals seeking globally recognised project management skills.
The Institute of Professional Studies has announced the opening of enrolment for its Project Management Professional certification programme, scheduled to begin in March 2026, targeting UPSA students and working professionals seeking globally recognised project management credentials.
Programme Overview
The PMP certification programme, run by the Institute of Professional Studies, is designed to equip participants with practical and internationally aligned project management skills across traditional, agile, and hybrid approaches.
The programme applies to all major project management knowledge areas and is open to both UPSA and non-UPSA participants.

Fees, Sessions, and Delivery Mode
UPSA students enrolling in the programme will pay a fee of GH¢5,000, while non-UPSA students will pay GH¢7,000.
The programme will be delivered virtually through Zoom, making it accessible to participants across the country.
Sessions are structured to suit different schedules and include regular, evening, and weekend options.
Modules and Academic Structure
The certification programme is organised into four main phases covering planning, communication, risk management, and professional standards.
Participants will study core modules such as Project Management Principles, Project Integration Management, Scope and Schedule Management, Communication and Stakeholder Management, Risk, Quality, and Cost Control, as well as Agile and Adaptive Project Management.
The curriculum aligns with international standards promoted by recognised professional bodies such as the Project Management Institute, whose frameworks guide PMP certification globally. IPS explained that the programme is suitable for students, early-career professionals, and experienced managers seeking formal certification to enhance career mobility and project delivery competence.

Enrolment and Payment Details
Interested applicants are required to enrol through the Institute of Professional Studies. Payments are to be made into the UPSA account number 0101824888 at ABSA Bank, Legon Branch. IPS has encouraged prospective participants to apply early ahead of the March 2026 start date to secure placement in the regular Cohort III intake.
