The Digital Revolution Has New Leaders—Girls

In 2025, Ghana’s digital transformation is not just being led by policymakers and tech companies—bold, brilliant young women across the nation are powering it. From coding apps to building games and websites, girls are staking their claim in ICT and redefining what it means to be future-ready.

 Spotlight: Wosilatu Mohammed, Ghana’s 2025 Girls-in-ICT Champion

At just 13 years old, Wosilatu Mohammed, a JHS 2 student from Akatsico Practice School in Akatsi South, Volta Region, emerged overall winner of the 2025 Girls-in-ICT competition.
