Ferdinand|EducationGhana|December 01|Ghana Police Service collaborates with Accra College of Education to support Community Policing
On December 1, 2022. the community policing unit of the Policing had an engagement with the Accra College of Education community on a campaign to support community policing to enhance community safety.
Community Policing aims to establish an active and equal partnership between the police and the Public through which crime and community safety issues can jointly be determined and solutions planned and implemented.

The community policing unit gives priority to educating and sensitizing people to protect themselves and ensure community safety.
An objective of Community Policing is to reduce incidents of fear of crime, and promote community safety and easy access to justice.

A forum was opened to address all concerns of the audience.
On a final remark, the Police used the opportunity to reiterate their aim to enforce the law, to ensure the safety, health and possessions of citizens, and to prevent crime and civil disorder.
