Teachers who aided candidates to engage in various forms of Examination Malpractices shall be called to face the consequences of their acts.
The Director General of the Ghana Education Service (GES) ,Prof. Kwesi Opoku Amankwa made this known on United Television,an Accra -based TV station on September 13,2019.

a television morning show by the television station,the GES Boss said even though candidates feel the direct consequences of
the exam malpractices,the invigilators too shall be sanctioned using the GES Code of Conduct.

However,the GES boss applauded the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) for censuring that the malpractices declined during the 2019 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE).
Also,the GES Director General said websites that issued fake information relating to leakage of examination questions shall be sanctioned accordingly.
He further explained there was genuine website for the circulating of leaked questions.
