Heads’ Assurance Letters
”The Practice of Heads of Schools issuing assurance letters to individual staff should be discouraged.”The GES said.”Rather, Heads of Schools (Including SHS) should declare such vacancies their respective District Directorates.” It said. The GES said the purpose of not allowing Heads to issue assurance letters was to clarify the fact that it was only Districts Directors that can declare vacancies in the Districts.Payment of Fees
The management of the GES emphasized that there are NO processes of re-postings that require the payment of any kind of fees. The GES added, that all letters of approval from the Director-General will be sent to the Regional Education Office for collection, and therefore, no useful purpose will be served by any staff seeking re-posting to visit the headquarters to follow up on such applications.Check This Out: Teacher Unions misunderstood GES’s proposal for reopening of schools – Ellis Ferdinand
