A 14-year-old girl has defied the odds to earn a master’s degree two years after completing two undergraduate programmes.
Dorothy Tillman, who hails from Chicago, completed the Environmental and Sustainable Science master’s programme in May 2020 from Unity College, Maine.
The teen genius combined university programmes with courses at high school and managed to complete an associate degree in Psychology at the College of Lake County in Grayslake, Illinois when she was 11.

The determined young lady gave a shot at another undergraduate course, which resulted in her earning a bachelor’s degree in humanities from the Excelsior College in Albany, New York, a year later.
She was originally scheduled to have a graduation in May, but for the deadly coronavirus that has infected 1.5 million people and killed more than 90, 000 with 364,263 recoveries as of Wednesday, May 20.
Dorothy has had a high IQ since childhood, which enabled her to start talking at eight months old.
At the tender age of four, she had begun simple mathematical calculations.

She has authored a book titled ‘Unlock the Jeanius Within’, with reports suggesting that she is also an aeroplane pilot learning to fly Cessna 172s in Alabama.
Dorothy told the Rollingout.com in May that her next focus is to help with the training of children.
“I’ve been working on STEM labs for kids because I really want to go into the STEM-related field and work with kids. I love helping kids have bright futures. I feel like I’m here to make people happy and to help people find their purpose.
“I know I want to go into that field, but I’m definitely sticking on the path of my engineering degree. I might go back to school, but my plan is to be an entrepreneur and use my engineering degree”.
