Why Ashanti Region Matters in NSMQ 2025

The Ashanti Region remains the epicentre of NSMQ dominance. With four seeded schools and a long history of national champions, the region consistently produces some of the toughest contenders in the competition. For NSMQ 2025, Ashanti has a rich mix of powerhouses, strong girls’ schools, zonal winners, and new entrants ready to make an impact on the national stage.

 Seeded Schools from Ashanti

Ashanti boasts four seeded schools, all of whom bypassed regional prelims thanks to their outstanding performance in NSMQ 2024:
  • Prempeh College — Four-time NSMQ champions and defending finalists, renowned for their science excellence.
