The stage is set for the 2024 National Science & Maths Quiz (NSMQ) Semi-finals, which will take place at the SGS Auditorium, University of Cape Coast, on October 27th, 2024. The competition promises an exciting regional showdown as nine schools from across Ghana prepare to battle for a spot in the finals.

 

The Semi-final Qualifiers

 

Keta Senior High Technical School (Keta SHTS) – Representing the Volta Region, Keta SHTS aims to continue their impressive performance and challenge for the title.

 

Presbyterian Boys’ Secondary School (PRESEC, Legon) – The Greater Accra Region powerhouse is set to showcase their renowned academic prowess and quest for yet another NSMQ victory.

 

Wesley Girls’ Senior High School (Wesley Girls’) – One of the three Central Region representatives, Wesley Girls’ SHS seeks to add the NSMQ trophy to their list of achievements.

 

Mfantsipim School – A traditional giant from the Central Region, Mfantsipim aims to reclaim their former glory with a strong Semi-final performance.

 

St. Augustine’s College – The third Central Region contender, St. Augustine’s College will be looking to leverage their recent strong showings to push further in the competition.

 

Ghana National College – Representing the Central Region as well, Ghana National College will look to build on their stunning Quarter-final victory to secure a place in the final showdown.

 

Osei Tutu Senior High School (Osei Tutu SHS) – As the Ashanti Region’s representative, Osei Tutu SHS has their sights set on making a mark in this year’s Semi-finals.

 

Tamale Senior High School (Tamale SHS) – Representing the Northern Region, Tamale SHS will aim to upset the favorites and make a statement on the big stage.

 

Koforidua Senior High Technical School (Koforidua SHTS) – The Eastern Region’s hopefuls, Koforidua SHTS, round off the list, bringing their competitive spirit to the Semi-final lineup.
