he Department of Biology Education of the University of Education, Winneba (UEW) invites qualified applicants for admission into MPhil in Biology Education & MPhil in Biology Programmes for the 2020/2021 Academic Year.
- MPHIL IN BIOLOGY EDUCATION
Entry Requirements
Applicants possessing the following qualifications may be admitted to the Master of Philosophy (Biology Education) programme:
- A good first degree (at least 2nd Class Lower) in Biology Education from any recognised university
- A good first degree (at least 2nd Class Lower) in Biology (with an education component) from a recognised university.
- A good first degree (at least 2nd Class Lower) in Biology or related area such as Botany, Zoology or Environmental Science from a recognised university with a postgraduate diploma in education or its equivalent.
Note: All applicants will undergo a selection interview.
- MPHIL IN BIOLOGY

- DURATION
The programmes will run on a full-time basis for a minimum duration of two academic years and a maximum duration of three academic years. There is a taught course component in the first year while the second year is devoted to full-time research.
