🚨 Attempt to Break Bounds Thwarted at St. Louis SHS

Security personnel and staff at St. Louis Senior High School in Kumasi intercepted a suspicious private vehicle on campus, leading to the shocking discovery of two students hidden inside the trunk. The incident occurred during a routine security operation aimed at curbing unauthorized student movements.

According to school officials, the vehicle had entered the premises under the pretense of a Bolt pickup, but suspicions were raised when the driver attempted to exit the school without picking up any visible passenger.

Upon further checks, security guards demanded a comprehensive search of the car, which revealed two female students crammed inside the trunk—a clear attempt to break bounds, a serious disciplinary offense in Ghanaian boarding schools.

🎓 Swift Action by School Authorities

Authorities at St. Louis SHS, one of Ghana’s top-performing all-girls senior high schools, immediately handed the case over to the school’s disciplinary committee for internal investigations. Counseling and parental engagement sessions have also been initiated as part of the school’s student welfare protocol.

“This was a serious breach, and we are reviewing our protocols. Thankfully, no student was harmed, but we must ensure this never happens again,” the source said.

Parents and guardians have been urged to cooperate with school policies and to reinforce the importance of discipline and safety among students.

⚖ Disciplinary Outcomes Pending

The Ghana Education Service (GES) is expected to receive a formal report, following which further action could be recommended.
