Take enough rest until students are back – GES to Schools’ Kitchen staff

The Ghana Education Service (GES) has asked all kitchen staff in all schools to take a break for enough rest until students resume.

The Ghana Education Service gave some other directives to its administrative staff at the regional,metropolitan, municipal and district education offices.

The directives come in the wake of directives from government which called for a total shut down of some institutions to prevent the spread of the deadly Corona virus pandemic.

In a letter dated March 21, 2020, signed by the Director of Human Resource Management Division, Dr. Adjoa Van Vicker for the Director-General, all staff who can conveniently be granted all or part of their annual leave should be considered for such leave.

It further stated,that each division or unit to have at most two supporting staff and the Director.

”All other staff should be put on a one-week rotational schedule starting tuesday,March 24,2020” It emphasized.
