Veteran quizmistress Prof. Elsie Effah Kaufmann, Dean of the School of Engineering Sciences at the University of Ghana, resumes her iconic role as host of the 2025 National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ) from the quarter-finals to the grand finale.

The National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ) 2025 is set to witness the return of one of Ghana’s most respected quizmistresses, Prof. Elsie Effah Kaufmann, as she takes over hosting duties from the quarter-final stage through to the grand finale of this year’s competition.Prof. Kaufmann, known for her sharp intellect, calm composure, and consistent fairness, has become a household name in Ghanaian education and quiz history.
