The Nursing and Midwifery Council publishes the official list of accredited training colleges in Ghana’s Western Region, covering state and private institutions offering nursing and midwifery programmes.
The Nursing and Midwifery Council (N&MC) of Ghana has released a comprehensive list of accredited training colleges in the Western Region. This includes both state-run and private institutions offering recognised diploma and certificate programmes in nursing and midwifery.
Among the notable institutions is the SDA Nursing and Midwifery Training College in Asanta, which offers a wide array of programmes including Registered General Nursing (RGN), Registered Midwifery (RM), and Public Health Nursing.
The list also includes Asankragwa NMTC, Tarkwa, and Sekondi colleges, which provide diploma training in RGN, RM, PNNM, and RNAC. Private provider Potters College, Sekondi, is also accredited for its RGN diploma programme.
The N&MC’s latest release is part of ongoing efforts to promote transparency and ensure that all health training institutions meet regulatory standards. Students and guardians are urged to consult this list before applying.
