NDC to Provide residential facilities in SHSs to accommodate Teachers and Educational staff

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has said it shall provide residential facilities in Senior High Schools to accommodate teachers and educational staff.

The NDC said this in its 2020 Manifesto known as the ‘People’s Manifesto’ indicating its assurance to commit to the promise when voted into power in December 2020.

Computer Labs

The NDC said it shall provide computer laboratories for all secondary schools and also address challenges with the Computerised School Selection and Placement System (CSSPS)

Decentralisation

The NDC added, that it shall Decentralise and strengthen procurement of food and other materials to the heads of the SHSs and their bursars.

According to the NDC, it shall Expand existing and well-performing schools to admit and accommodate more students including Ghanaians abroad who wish to imbibe our culture.

Wifi

The party said it shall promote the use of IT and provide free Wi-Fi in schools to enhance the performance of students.

It also promised to provide students and teachers with free tablets loaded with relevant content to facilitate teaching and learning.
