The National Inspectorate Board(NIB )has developed a set of guidelines for schools planning to roll out online teaching and learning programs in the next academic year.
The guidelines lay out the needed preparations for designing and rolling out an online teaching and learning program, the configuration of popular learning management systems and the NIB’s online learning evaluation approach.

In a statement issued by the NIB, dated May 6, 2020, the NIB said it has recognized the needs of pre-tertiary schools in continuation of teaching and learning in these trying times.
The NIB is focused on ensuring that education continues for learners even as we go through this crisis together. Schools seeking to offer online learning in the third term are advised to go by these guidelines. The NIB will do virtual inspections to ensure teaching and learning is still happening and also to ensure fee-paying parents are getting value for money
