NTC opens Second Phase of the 2022 Teacher Licensure Examination Registration

The West African Examinations Council (WAEC), has kick-started with the registration of private candidates for the 2020 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE).

The registration started on Monday, 10th February 2020 and will end on Sunday, 31st May 2020 at 23:55 GMT.

While the normal registration period is set to end on Friday, May 1, the late period for registration is from May 1 to May 31, 2020.

However, it is expected that WAEC will reopen the portal when it releases the results of candidates who sit for the 2020 WASSCE exams.

The 2020 Private WASSCE will start on Monday, 27th July 2020 and end on Wednesday, 30th September 2020.

Only private candidates are eligible to register for the exam.

The index numbers and admission notices of candidates will be available from 5th August 2020.

The subject fees are as follows:

4 subjects … … … GH¢375.67

3 subjects … … … GH¢354.30

Fees for Oral/Practical/Project Work

Candidates who offer subjects with oral/practical/project work component will pay additional fees as follows:

GH¢50.00 per subject for Practical

GH¢50.00 per subject for Project Work

GH¢36.00 per subject for Oral (English and French)
