GIRL REPORTEDLY DIES THIS EVENING AT MAMFE METHODIST GIRLS SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL IN THE AKUAPEM NORTH MUNICIPALITY OF THE EASTERN REGION.
Earlier this morning, the entire campus was seen to be flooded with smoke from burning refuse causing a very uncomfortable atmosphere for the students to bear.
A report given by Power FM states that about 20 students who could not withstand the intensity of the smoke fainted and had to be rushed to the nearby hospital for immediate care.
“My daughter called me this morning with tears and requested that I pick her up due to her condition and the smokiness of the school.” This was a statement given by the father when interviewed by Mugabe Maase of Power FM.
Unfortunately this evening, the headmistress has announced the sudden death of the girl and related it to the malaria fever she had yesterday.
As at now, report reaching Eghnews indicates the fuss going on in the school with parents trying to take their wards out of the school.
