JUST IN: GHC40 for Posting of Newly Trained Teachers in September False – GES

The Ghana Education Service (GES) has cautioned the General Public most especially the Newly Trained Teachers from the Colleges of Education to desist from rumours circulating on Social Media regarding their postings come September 2019.

The GES has denied rumors on social media which were purported to have come from its public relations unit.

In a false publication which went viral on social media,all newly trained teachers currently undertaking their national service are to visit any GBC Bank across the country and pay 40ghc to buy voucher and apply for their posting which is schedule to take effect on September 2019.

”This exercise will commence from 13th August to 19th August 2019. Therefore applicants should ensure that they have their DBE certificate, Birth certificate TIN and their provisional license certificate available with them which will be needed in the registration process.” The fake report said.

The fake report also indicated,it has been copied to some stakeholders in Education.

But the Ghana Education Service said its outfit has not release any statement to that effect.

In addition,the general public has been cautioned to disregard information that has not come officially from the Ghana Education Service or its partners for such purposes.

A website known as GhStudents.com has also reported similar information,claiming the GES has started recruitment of qualified graduate teachers into the various public schools.

But the GES said such information was not coming from its outfit.
