Deputy Education Minister ,Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum has appreciated the level of intelligence displayed by pupils in the basic schools in the Upper East Region.
Dr. Adutwum visited the staff and pupils of Adabayire Basic School in Navrongo and Akantome Basic School in Bolgatanga.
His visits were parts of his tour of schools in the region in July 2019.

Interacting with pupils in some of the classes, the deputy education minister was wowed by their level of intelligence.

He motivated the pupils to aim high, learn hard and persevere until they reach the apex.
Also, he used the opportunity to commend teachers in the country for the good work they are doing in educating the young ones.
He assured the teachers of Government’s commitment to alleviate the plight of the Ghanaian teacher.
