 The Ghana Education Service (GES) has released appointment letters to teachers for vacant positions in some public basic schools across the country.

The category of teachers whose appointment letters have been issued by the Ghana Education Service includes Those who completed and passed the College of Education exams in 2018 and have also passed their licensure exams in the 2018/19 academic year.
The said teachers are also expected to have completed their mandatory national service and must have applied for recruitment into the Ghana Education Service.
The Ghana Education Service made this pronouncement in a statement issued on November 20, 2019, and signed by its Head of Human Resource Management, Mrs Adjoa Van Vicker.
Appointees are to report to their respective regional education directors with their appointment letters and certificates for further directives.
