A Quality and Access Team from the Ghana Education Service (GES) is expected to begin Monitoring visits to Basic and Second Cycle Schools across the country.
The planned visit is part of an on-going effort by the GES to improve Learning Outcomes in Schools.

Focus of Visit
A letter dated February 24, 2020, and signed by Dr. Kwabena Bempah Tandoh, the Deputy Director-General in Charge of Quality and Access, for the Director-General, said the visit shall focus on interaction with both staff and students.
It further said there shall be a focus on the lesson observations, School Leadership Interviews as well as Assessment of Students’ Performances.
The letter instructed the Regional Directors of Education to inform Metro/Municipal and District Directors within their respective regions of the planned visits.
