Newly Trained Teachers who graduated from Public Colleges of Education In 2018 shall be posted to teach in vacant public basic schools by the end of November 2019,the Ghana Education Service (GES) has indicated.
The GES in a statement issued by its head of public relations,Cassandra Twum Ampofo on October 22,2019 said such graduates should have successfully completed their National Service and also passed their Licensure Exams.
‘’Eligible candidates who duly applied online will be shortlisted and postings effected by the end of November 2019’’ the GES said.
Considerations
The statement further indicated ,there shall be considerations for University graduates with Basic Education and EARLY Childhood Certificates.
In addition,such graduates should also pass the Ghana teacher Licensure Examination successfully and should have also completed their National Service.
In conclusion,the GES said it reserved the right to post teachers to where their Services may be needed.
It further warned teachers to be careful and desist from paying monies to unauthorized persons to expedite the posting process.
