In a significant move to support education and empower youth, the Member of Parliament for Awutu Senya West Constituency, Hon. Gizella Tetteh Agbotui, has presented the early batch of tertiary scholarships for the 2025 academic year to 55 deserving students.

The beneficiaries include students currently enrolled in nursing training colleges, teacher training institutions, and various universities. Agbotui’s broader commitment to enhancing access to quality education in the constituency.

During the presentation ceremony, the MP offered heartfelt words of encouragement, reminding the recipients of the long-term significance of their academic journey:

“Your name and class will appear on your final certificates for life—make sure you have something good to show and make yourselves proud.”

She also addressed the realities of tertiary life, emphasizing the need for balance:

“Tertiary institutions come with new freedoms. Use them wisely. Be mindful of the choices you make, especially concerning extracurricular activities, peer pressure, and the use of drugs and stimulants—the repercussions can be lifelong.”

This initiative reflects a proactive and compassionate approach to constituency development, aligning with national goals of building a skilled and educated workforce.
