GES staff on Study Leave With Pay in the Greater Accra Region must visit the Regional Education Office from the 15th to the 20th of every month for salary validation. Required documents include Study Leave with a Pay Approval Letter, Admission Letter, and more.

An official release signed by Mr Stephen Abamfo, Acting Regional Director for the Greater Accra Region, on Friday, July 12, 2024, states that all Ghana Education Service (GES) staff on Study Leave With Pay must visit the Regional Education Office for the validation of their salaries.

This directive aims to ensure that staff are pursuing the courses for which they were granted study leave with pay and to confirm their continued enrollment in school.

Validation Schedule

  • Date: 15th to 20th of every month
  • Location: Greater Accra Regional Education Office

Failure to adhere to the above directives will result in staff not being validated and consequently not receiving their salaries.

Required Documents for Validation

  1. Study Leave with Pay Approval Letter
  2. Admission Letter
  3. Student ID Card
  4. Ghana Card
  5. Current Payslip
  6. Semester Registration Form
