Ghana College of Nurses and Midwives honours 2019 Best graduating Student

Ms. Adofo was presented with The Dr. Jemima Dennis-Antwi Excellence Award for being the best student in the 2019 graduating members of GCNM.

At the induction ceremony held for newly qualified nurse assistants, nurses and midwives in Accra on Friday November 29, 2019, Ms. Adofo was also recognized by the Council and was awarded a cash prize.

At the 2nd Scientific Conference and 4th Annual General Meeting of the Ghana College of Nurses and Midwives held on October 8, 2019, Ms. Adofo was inducted as a Member of the Ghana College of Nurses and Midwives (GCNM) to the Faculty of Emergency Nursing.

Ms. Cornelia Esson Adofo is a Registered General Nurse currently working at the Eastern Regional Hospital. She completed the Nurses and Midwives Training College, Koforidua in 2010 and had her rotation at the Atua Government Hospital.

She then proceeded to the Central University College and obtained a degree in Nursing in 2012.

She has a great deal of experience in preceptorship and supervision. She is long-standing member of the Ghana Registered Nurses and Midwives Association, a member of the Emergency Society of Ghana (EMSOG) and a member of the Africa Federation for Emergency Medicine (AFEM).

She is a team player and an adept practitioner in interdepartmental coordination and communication.
