The Ghana Education Service (GES) Promotion Portal has introduced a new RESET feature that allows teachers to clear and re-apply if errors were made in their submissions. Deadline for applications is October 2, 2025.

GES Launches New RESET Option

The Ghana Education Service (GES) has announced the introduction of a new RESET feature on its Promotion Portal, designed to help teachers re-apply if they encounter errors in their earlier submissions. This feature is expected to improve the accuracy of applications and ensure that all qualified teachers have a fair opportunity to complete the process before the October 2, 2025 deadline.

Step-by-Step Guide for Teachers

According to GES, the process for using the RESET feature is as follows:

  1. Visit the promotion portal via https://bit.ly/GESPROMOTION25.
  2. If your application code was invalid, register again to obtain a new code. Otherwise, use your existing code.
  3. Log in with your Staff ID and Application Code.
  4. Click the RESET button.
  5. A new application form will appear. Fill in the required details and submit.
  6. The new submission automatically replaces the earlier one.

Deadline and Call to Action

GES has emphasized that the ultimate goal is to ensure that every qualified teacher successfully applies by October 2, 2025. The Service has further assured teachers that feedback shared during the process will be taken into account to enhance the user experience on the portal.

Stakeholder Response

Teachers have welcomed this new feature as a timely solution to challenges faced during the application process. Education stakeholders also believe the RESET option will prevent disqualification due to minor errors in initial submissions.
