Ashesi University provides students with free data for online classes

Students of the Ashesi University are being provided with 10GB monthly data bundles as the school has moved to undertake its academic activities online.

The need for the school to switch to online classes stems from President Nana Akufo-Addo’s directive that all universities should close down until further notice in order to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus.

The free data bundle is being provided by the school’s I.T Office.

The school, estimated to have a student population of nearly 1,000, is entreating its students to participate in its online classes.

We encourage as many students as possible to participate in online classes. However students who will not be able to take classes online due to extenuating circumstances will be allowed to do so whenever campus reopens. – https://t.co/o8R0jHhAQL #FightCOVID19 #StopTheSpread https://t.co/oLcIyAJVqp
