80 teachers flee Nkoranza-North over horrific deaths

The Ghana National Association of Teachers (GNAT) has confirmed that about 80 teachers have fled Nkoranza-North due to what they describe as ‘horrific’ deaths of teachers.
Explaining the issue to GBC’s Radio Ghana, the Head of Public Relations of GNAT, Peter Korda, said one teacher died in 2016 and another this year (2019), a situation which has put fear in teachers, because nothing has been done to bring to bear the causes of the deaths, though the second case is currently in court.
According to him, there was no arrest made during the 2016 incidence and a similar case happened in 2019.
