57 Circuit Supervisors in 3 Regions ‘cry’ over exclusion in Motorbikes distribution by Gov’t

GOVERNMENT TEACHERS NAPO MAHAMA

Some 57 Circuit Supervisors in the Northern, North East and Savannah Regions are calling on the Government to consider them in its Motorbike distribution exercise that took place some months ago.

The Circuit Supervisors who are expected to supervise activities of Schools and Teachers in the various Circuit under the Ghana Education Service, claimed they were not considered during the motorbike distribution exercise.

According to the Circuit Supervisors, the inability of government to give them the motorbikes shall affect effective supervision and monitoring in the affected districts in the mentioned regions.

The Distribution

Government has through the Ghana Education Service (GES) provided 85 motorbikes to circuit supervisors on June 5, 2020 in the Upper West Region.

The motorbikes to be distributed across the region are expected to assist the circuit supervisors to execute their duties of monitoring teaching and learning activities effectively.
