WASSCE 2021: WAEC explains unfortunate changes in online results

EducationGhana| December b12| WASSCE 2021: The West African Examinations Council, WAEC has explained reasons for the unfortunate changes in the online results of the 2021 West African Secondary SWchool Certificate Examination, WASSCE.
WAEC in a statement issued on Saturday, December 12, 2021, indicated, that One of their Council’s platforms, ERESULTS. WAECGH.ORG, used for checking of results experienced a technical hitch on Friday, 10th December 2021 between 4.45 p.m. and 6.00 p.m.

Changes
According to WAEC, the changes resulted in subjects which originally had Grade B3 with the interpretation, GOOD being changed to Grade A1 with the interpretation GOOD still showing, clearly indicating an error.
Solution
The system has been shut down and the problem resolved.
Members of the public are assured that our Results Database is secure and intact.
The Council sincerely apologises to members of the public for the anxiety and inconvenience caused.
