The National Democratic Congress has stated emphatically that its government after 2020 elections ,shall cancel the Mandatory Licensure Exams being taken by newly Trained Teachers in the various Colleges of Education.
Making this pronouncement on Asempa FM,an Accra based radio station’s late after political programme, the National Communication Officer,Sammy Gyamfi said that has been the position of the party’s flag bearer.
According to Sammy Gyamfi,at the law school, students are supposed to pass all subjects and do a six-month internship to be recognized as lawyers.

He questioned the purpose of their Licensure Exams when the Trainee has passed all his papers in School, go for a one-year out programme section, come back to write two papers before graduating.
Sammy Gyamfi said the National Democratic Congress (NDC) government in 2021 shall cancel the Licensure Exams Immediately.
National Service
Lawyer Sammy Gyamfi further emphasized,the NDC shall cancel the mandatory National Service which has been introduced by the New Patriotic Party Government.
He said the National Service was nothing different from Trainees going for a one-year Out Programme in Basic Schools across the country.

Automatic Postings
The NDC Chief Communicator indicated categorically that when their party gets the nod in 2020 to rule Ghana, Teacher Trainees from the various Colleges opf Education shall be given automatic postings.
In this regard,the Chief Communicator indicated that from history of College Education,Teacher Trainees have always been posted after their Diploma In Basic Education.
He said ,the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Government wanted to reduce the intake to supplement their allowances.
Lawyer Sammy Gyamfi was hopeful the NDC shall be voted into power to help solve such problems in the Education Sector.
