UPSA,UG and Ashesi University place 3rd in New World Universities Ranking

In the 2019 edition of the Times Higher Education University Impact Rankings, 3 popular Ghanaian universities have been ranked the same at the third position in the sub-Saharan region.

The Accra-based outstanding 3 universities are the University of Professional Studies (UPSA) the University of Ghana, Legon (UG), and the Ashesi University.

According to the Times Higher Education University Impact Rankings the three tertiary institutions completed in the 301+ placement.

The ranking was in a pioneering new global ranking that assessed the social and economic impact of universities based on the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The ranking of the three universities has also improved in several other metrics that rank universities locally and globally.
