Sandra Aku Hone, a level 400 Teacher trainee of Ada College of Education pursuing a Bachelor of Education in Science and Mathematics has been adjudged the winner of the maiden edition of the Teacher Trainees Association of Ghana (TTAG)  Weekly Journal Writing Contest.

The event held as part of the official handing over ceremony of the national leadership of the Accra College of Education on March 5, 022 saw Sandra winning the ultimate.

About Sandra Honu

Sandra Aku Honu is a 22 years old level 400 Teacher trainee of Ada College of Education pursuing a Bachelor of Education in Science and Mathematics.

She had her basic school education at Providence Aggrey Vision School where she graduated as the best graduating student.

She proceeded to Zion College in the Volta region for her second cycle  education where she studied Science.

She had the chance to represent her school as the principal speaker in the TTAG EGA quiz and debate competition as a fresher and also won first place in a beauty contest to become the Face of Adacoe for the 2019/2020 academic year.

In the year 2020, she represented Ada College in a national beauty contest, Miss Tertiary where I made it to the Top 16 as the only Collegian. Also in 2020, Ishe was recognized as the Most Influential Tertiary Woman of the year in STEM.

At the maiden edition of the Ghana Colleges Entertainment Awards, She was adjudged the Student Female model of the year 2021.

In terms of student leadership, she served as the SRC’s Editorial board chairperson and also the Debaters Club President of Adacoe

About the TTAG Weekly Journal Writing Contest

TTAG weekly journal writing contest was organized to engage Teacher trainees who loved to express their thoughts through writing in an intellectually friendly competition.

Its maiden edition recorded a huge number of entries from trainees nationwide. After weeks of assessment.
