A 24-year old young lady of OLA college of education has been elected President of the Western and Central (WEC) administrative sector of the Teacher Trainees Association of Ghana (TTAG) for the 2019/20 Academic year.
Erica Arthur, contested some very able gentlemen to occupy the highest seat of students politics in the sector.
She was elected during the 24th Annual sector delegates congress held at the Enchi College of Education in the Western Region.
Erica thereby became the first female to be elected to the position of the Sector Presidency after serving as Vice President during the 2018/19 Academic Year.
Erica was admitted to OLA college of education in 2017 and was crowned the face of OLA college of education for the 2018/2019 academic year.
She served as the president of the Science, Mathematics and Technology Students Association for the same academic year.
She was elected the SRC vice-president and women’s commissioner of OLA college of education in the aforementioned year.
She also doubled as the vice president for the Teacher Trainees’ Association of Ghana, Western and Central sector, for the 2018/2019 TTAG year.
Erica had her basic education at Wisdom preparatory school, Enchi in the Western North region where she come from.
She Continued to senior high school at Armed forces senior high technical school and completed in the year 2013.
