The National Service Authority (NSA) has officially responded to concerns raised by members of the 2023 batch of teacher trainees from the Colleges of Education regarding delays in receiving their National Service certificates.

In a public statement released by the Authority, management acknowledged the growing frustration expressed across social media platforms and assured affected personnel that urgent steps are being taken to expedite the processing and distribution of the delayed certificates.

The NSA emphasized that it understands the inconvenience caused by the delay, particularly regarding its impact on employment opportunities, further education, and professional development.

“The Authority is working tirelessly to ensure that the certificates are dispatched promptly and efficiently,” the statement read. It further appealed for calm and patience from affected individuals as corrective measures are implemented.

While no specific date was given for the final distribution, the NSA reaffirmed its commitment to resolving the issue as swiftly as possible, adding, “We deeply regret any inconvenience this delay may have caused.”

The National Service Certificate is a key document that confirms the successful completion of Ghana’s mandatory national service program—essential for job applications and continuing education.
