The Ashanti Region edition of the National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ) 2025 kicked off with fierce intellectual battle as Kumasi Academy (KUMACA) emerged victorious in Contest 1 with 40 points, earning a coveted spot at the NSMQ 2025 National Championship.

Facing stiff competition from Sakafia Islamic SHS, Okomfo Anokye SHS, and Obuasi SHTS, KUMACA secured the win with strategic answering in the final two rounds.

This contest was moderated under the guidance of Primetime Ghana, the organizers of the NSMQ, who continue to drive academic excellence across regions.
