JUST IN:GNAT apologizes to members for ‘selling’ funeral cloths during COVID-19 Pandemic

The Ghana National Association of Teachers (GNAT) has apologized to its members for coincidentally selling GNAT-branded funeral cloth during the Coronavirus (COVD-19) pandemic.

According to the Gnana National Association of Teachers, the cloth was produced in 2018 of which an internal memo was sent to the Regional Secretaries only on Friday,27th  March 2020.

According to a 22nd April statement issued by the secretariate of GNAT, and signed by its General Secretary, Thomas Musah, the said memo which leaked to the general public was meant for internal consumption.

The GNAT said it has been observed that members of the Association were highly offended by the publication of the said memo at such a time when we are battling with COVID-19 pandemic.
