The National Council for Curriculum and Assessment (NaCCA) has cautioned schools and the general public of patronizing textbooks that have been purported to have been approved for public use.
NaCCA said it was still in the process of approving textbooks in accordance with previous curriculum reforms.
In a statement issued by NaCCA on October 31, 2019 and signed by its Executive Secretary, Dr. Prince Hamid Armah, all publishers are to make sure all their educational materials are being approved before selling them to schools.
This means that as at the end of Eight weeks of implementing the new standard-based curriculum, no facilitator has ever used any textbook apart from the curriculum and teachers resource pack to aid learning and teaching in schools.
