Ghana has now recorded cases of the novel coronavirus in 12 of its 16 regions as the Oti and Western North Regions have confirmed cases.
Whilst the Western North has recorded one case, Oti has 13 cases.
These were indicated in the Ghana Health Service’s Friday afternoon of the coronavirus update in the country.
Data from GHS indicates that the Greater Accra Region region continues to record the most number of cases in the country, confirming 1,089 cases.
Ashanti Region and Eastern Region follow with 69 and 56 cases respectively.
Meanwhile, the national case count has also shot up to 1,279, with 10 deaths and 134 recoveries.
