Hope Restored: Adventist SHS Student Suzzy Pinamang Recovering After UK Eye Surgery
Suzzy Adwoa Pinamang, a Form Two student of Adventist Senior High School, is on a promising road to full recovery following a successful eye surgery in the United Kingdom.
Suzzy was accidentally shot in the eye earlier this year in a tragic incident that drew national attention. Thanks to swift intervention, unwavering support from Ghanaians, and the remarkable generosity of businessman Ibrahim Mahama, Suzzy was flown to the UK for specialized care.
Surgery at World-Class Eye Hospital
The life-changing procedure was performed at the Moorfields Eye Hospital in London, one of the world’s top institutions for advanced eye care.
According to Rafik Mahama, special aide to Mr. Ibrahim Mahama, the surgery was a complete success and Suzzy has already begun regaining her vision and independence.
“The operation was a success, and Suzzy is now on the path to full recovery. She is now able to see on her own,” Mahama shared via Facebook.
Gratitude to Ibrahim Mahama and All Supporters
The family and supporters have expressed profound appreciation to Mr. Ibrahim Mahama, whose financial and logistical support made Suzzy’s overseas medical trip possible. Thanks were also extended to the medical teams in Ghana and the UK, and to the general public for their continuous prayers and encouragement.
