The University of Cape Coast (UCC) has cancelled the GEO 408 Population and Development examination from last semester over academic integrity issues. Affected Level 400 students are to rewrite the paper on October 31, 2025, at the New Lecture Theatre (NLT).

The University of Cape Coast (UCC) has officially cancelled the GEO 408: Population and Development examination from the previous semester.
The decision, according to university management, aligns with UCC’s Academic Integrity and Examination Conduct Policy, which promotes fairness, transparency, and credibility in the institution’s assessment processes.
New Exam Schedule Announced
All Level 400 students affected by the cancellation have been directed to retake the GEO 408 examination on Friday, October 31, 2025, between 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.
The examination will take place at the New Lecture Theatre (NLT) on campus.
The Department of Geography and Regional Planning has urged students to take note of the new schedule and prepare adequately for the retake.
