The first contest for day two of the One-eighth Stage contest which was held at UGBS featured Accra Academy, Assin State College, and Afua Kobi Ampem SHS.
The sterling performance of all three schools in the Preliminary Stage of the competition made it difficult to predict a winner at the beginning of the competition.
At the end of the first round, Accra Academy was leading by a one-point margin. Meanwhile, Assin State College kept on gathering momentum and tried reducing the point difference, but could not bridge the gap.

In the fifth round of the contest, Assin State College answered two of the Riddles correctly, however, they could not garner enough points to beat Accra Academy.
