Video: How University of Ghana’s Prof Gyampo was implicated in Sex for Grade Scandal

An associate professor of the University of Ghana (UG), Legon and Political Science Lecturer Professor Ransford Edward Gyampo is the latest causality in the “sex for grades” scandal.

This brings to two the number of Senior Lecturers from Ghana’s premier university to have been fingered in the nine months of investigations into sexual harassment conducted by BBC Africa Eye in top West African Universities.

Professor Gyampo who is a vocal critic of politicians in Ghana proposes marriage to one of his victims in the trailer of the video that has been posted on BBC Somalia’s Facebook page.

 

Head of European Studies at the University persuaded the reporter to meet him at the mall where he was caught on camera making “numerous inappropriate demands.”
