NTC deducts Teachers for License again as TM 1 Laptop, Extra Tax deductions make it in November

EducationGhana | November 22 | November Salary Deductions:  Teachers and other staff of the Ghana Education Service (GES) has been hit with some controversial deductions in the month of November.

Reports reaching EducationGhana indicates, that the controversial deductions include, GH¢100 National Teaching Council (NTC) deductions for Teacher License as well as GH¢ 509.55 Teacher Laptop deductions.

There have been allegations of an NTC License Renewal Tax which was deducted on a license that has not been renewed yet.

This has led to about GH¢200.00 increase in the tax being paid by the teachers.
