The Municipal Chief executive for Lower Manya Krobo Municipality, Hon. Simon Kweku Tetteh on Thursday,June 6,2019, broke grounds for the construction of 12-Unit 3-Storey Classroom block.
The 12-Unit 3-Storey Classroom blockwith comes with 10 seater WC toilet facility.
Akro Tech Senior High School is the intended beneficiary of the project.
This short ceremony was witnessed by some executive members of the NPP in the Lower Manya Krobo Municipality.
Also at the ceremony was the Staff of Akro Tech SHS and some technical officers from the Municipal Assembly.
He expressed his appreciation to the President of the Republic of Ghana,H. E. Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo .
He appreciated the president for considering his Municipality for the emergency project that when completed will take the school from the double track system.
Meanwhile,he entreated the contractor to do a very good job .
Explaining his statement,he indicated he was not happy after seeing a 3 storey building at Krobo Girls SHS which had been completed barely 4 years ago but it now a death trap.
