Accra, Ghana: The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has taken a decisive step by blocking the results of 4,878 candidates who failed to return learning support materials supplied to them by their schools during the WASSCE 2023. This information was disclosed in the official release document of the 2023 WASSCE results.
WAEC emphasized that the affected candidates should contact their respective schools to address the issue and facilitate the unblocking of their results. The move underscores the importance of compliance with examination regulations and the responsible return of materials provided for support during the examination process.
This development comes as part of WAEC’s commitment to maintaining the integrity of the examination process and ensuring that all candidates adhere to the prescribed guidelines. The blocked results serve as a reminder to students and schools about the significance of following established protocols to safeguard the credibility of the examination system.
