Teacher Trainees in the public Colleges of Education have lamented on the fate of their allowances which have been in arrears since May 2019.
The Teacher Trainees at the Public Colleges of Education were being assured of receiving two months allowances at the end of June 2019.
The Student Loan Trust Fund (SLTF) was quoted to have assured the leadership of the Teacher Trainees Association of Ghana(TTAG).

Meanwhile.aas at July 14,2019, the teacher trainees did still not get any alert to that effect.
A video got circulated on Social Media where a teacher trainee was in tears over the hardships they have been subjected to since the delay in the payment of their allowances some two months ago.
According to the teacher trainee, Awal Sulemana of Atebubu College of Education,they delay in the allowances has inability to pay for his handouts.
In an exclusive interview with EducationGhana ,some trainees said their leadership of the Teacher Trainees Association of Ghana has been more over the matter.
The trainees questioned the decision of the Student Loan Trust Fund (SLTF) to keep them in suspense regarding the delay in the payment of their allowances.
