UPSA gets streetlights to enhance security of students

Management of the University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA) have taken steps to ensure the safety of students and pedestrians who use the University of Ghana Graduate Business School street towards their campus.

Road users, especially students, have made several complaints, noting that the darkness of that particular stretch of road poses a serious security threat to them.

Earlier this month, the Students Representative Council of the University assured students that it was working on providing streetlights to ensure the safety of students.

A social media post from the University suggests that Management has heeded to the complaints from students.

Students have also responded to the move and have expressed their elation.

They have applauded University Management for heeding to their cry.
